Listerine plax

The bold mouthwash that kills of bad breath germs. Chlorhexidine mouthwash are medicated and are prescribed only by dentists. Also, it’s not recommended for long term use. Colgate plax is fine but its not American Dental Association (ADA) approved. That’s what I recommend to my patients.

Plax does not kill anything. My advice: save your money. Post-brushing rinses vary. Get rid of dandruff by massaging mouthwash into your scalp. Then it rinse out with your normal shampoo.


Dentists give it out regularly and everyone seems to be sold on the seconds to kill 99. Swish and Colgater are rather mild in comparison. The question, “ How long does mouthwash last before it expires? How long is a piece of string? Basically, all mouthwashes are different.


Some contain alcohol, preservatives or antimicrobials.
