Magic mouth rinse ingredients

What is the prescription for magic mouthwash? Do you swallow Dukes magic mouthwash? Each has slightly different ingredients in varying amounts. Steroids or corticosteroids are a very effective anti-inflammatory agent and are often added to magic mouthwash to reduce swellings from sores and lesions on the tongue and inside of the mouth.


Its commercial name is Benadryl. An anesthetic: for numbing the painful area in the mouth or throat.

Common elements include Maalox, Benadryl , antibiotics and viscous lidocaine. Mary’s mouthwash is a particular formulation for use in treating stomatitis or mouth ulcers. The ingredients in this mouthwash include nystatin, tetracycline, chlorpheniramine and hydrocodone.


According to Mayo Clinic, magic mouthwash contains at least three ingredients from several categories: an antihistamine, an antibiotic, an antaci an antifungal and a corticosteroid. Each ingredient plays a specific role in either treatment of the problem or alleviation of the discomfort from the condition. Symptoms of oral mucositis include dry mouth , swollen gums, difficulty swallowing and sores in the mouth or on the gums. A corticosteroid to reduce inflammation.


The mouthwash must be prescribed by a doctor and may be created by. Weisman’s Philadelphia Mouthwash. When we first got it and opened it, I have to say the smell was extremely strong but when you rinse with it, it’s not as strong as it smells.


I love how clean my mouth feels after using this product.

Chemotherapy patients exposed to radiation therapy because of head or neck cancer may develop oral. Most contain at least ingredients. There are numerous magic mouthwash preparations.


Apply some of this solution to the inside of the lips and mouth before feeding, up to six times a day.
